Does anyone have a shipping method cross country ?

Hi everyone I am moving from California to Chicago and need to find the most affordable way to send all my stuff. A U-HAUL POD is too expensive and it seems like shipping with USPS is also too expensive. Does anyone have another option they used under 1k?
