What mac to choose? Sooo many options

Thinking of upgrading to a mac for my personal setup, but there are sooo many options, my primary uses are xcode, vscode, content watching and sometimes simple games like minecraft and very rarely, davinci resolve

I have never been this unsure about devices

I could get, so many options like

Macbook neo (but not sure how effectively it would run xcode)

Macbook air (M4 or M5) 16/512

Mac mini M4 and I will have to get some new peripherals

M3/M2 macbook pro, pretty much the same price as air m4/m5 air

Any thoughts or recommendations would be nice.

Dont really care about refresh rate and display size as I have a monitor accessible usually.

Just looking to keep the same one for a long time, and cant use my work laptop for non work things
