Help with a gurgling shower drain?

We recently built a new shower and added a new rough-in. It seems whenever the plumbing is used in the basement bathroom, a tremendously loud gurgling sound echoes up from the shower drain. I think the issue is a venting problem. I included a picture for reference here.

The blue arrows indicate the new shower drain. The black arrows are the main stack as it heads towards the cesspool. And the vertical pipe marked with red arrows is the sump pump that pumps out the basement bathroom. Does anyone have any advice that might help alleviate this? The shower P-trap (with the blue arrows) isn't dry.

Thanks in advance!
