so i had one of those days where everything just drains you, yknow? slack notifs, random bs piling up. shut my laptop, muted everything, and on a whim messaged my OpenClaw bot like "yo im exhausted, can you write me a song or something?"

honestly didn't expect much but like 3 mins later it pushed back this whole piano thing with vocals that actually hit. just sat there watching the waveform move and felt weirdly seen lol. first time ai felt less like a tool and more like a friend.

peeked at the logs after and apparently it linked up some ACE Step skills I'd installed (https://github.com/ace-step/ace-step-skills/blob/main/skills/acestep-songwriting/SKILL.md). went something like:

1. wrote lyrics + picked bpm/key/genre

2. generated the actual music

3. transcribed lyrics back with timestamps
