Does emergency healthcare also cost money in the U.S?
Not American but I spent some time there and I have obviously heard about the absolutely diabolical costs people have to pay for healthcare, which is a whole other issue.
Like just the price of an ambulance is disgusting.
But let’s say someone is gets sick/injured and are unconscious, someone else calls and ambulance for them and they get treated at the hospital while unconscious - can they still give the bill since the person technically didn’t consent to the procedures and treatments?
