Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green are obviously gonna have fans wanting to complete the regional and national dexes. This requires Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, as they have pokemon these other two games don't. With the previous set up on the 3ds of two different gens and sets of games having come out with the ability of connectivity between them all in a franchise that encourages completing a collection, we can assume that we'll likely get an offer to buy RSE, which will further entice fans to attempt to complete all if not most of these games, which will require being able to trade if not transfer en masse. With XD Gale of Darkness for NSO and the possibility of RSE coming to current hardware, we have another chance to see what Gen 3 and it's extreme content wall to catch em all as a pokemon fan way back then has to offer with the new convenience of better hardware, some game design changes to fit the times (Baked in Events, Wireless Trading, etc) and likely lower prices than before. The only question is if they'll even bother to give us RSE, Box, and Colosseum, if Colosseum is even able to serve a purpose in this. Regardless of Colosseum, RSE and Box are doubtlessly necessary and make a some questions of whether or not they want to advertise all these games and functions and just how and when these offers will come along. Gen 3 wasn't easy for any fan of pokemon back then because of all these games being interconnected and serving a purpose to the mainline games while doing so. Gale of Dark is in NSO, and likely RSE will come at something around a 20 outside and completely independent of that online subscription. What about Box, The original pokemon Home? I understand my bringing this up is primarily convenience, but there are even pokemon you'd only get from those games only. For collectors that considers themselves super hard-core and want absolutely every kind of pokemon GameFreak coded into their games, price and scarcity were a problem in catching every variation of every pokemon out there. Now, with the switch consoles having FRLG and possibly more, we might get our hands on one of the hardest pieces of software to get. With the only question being how and when. And if they'll bother at all.

Anyone have anything to say on this? I'm not a person who started on gen 3 myself, so of course I wouldn't mind hearing what anyone thinks about Gen 3 coming back to Nintendo consoles altogether over a gradual course. And the feasibility of it even happening.

We'll need this to have a resurgence if we wanna complete FRLG and RSE comfortably.
