Is Akliz a good alternative to realms for minecraft bedrock?

:red_parrot: Discussion

Currently I have a minecraft bedrock realm with a couple friends(6-10), really the only issue we have is lag. Most of us play on pc but some still play on console. The only thing we use the realm for is survival, no mods, just a couple texture packs. I just wanted to know if switching to this kind of server is worth it. It's only 8$ on realms but less lag is worth the couple extra $, if it does lag less. Could someone who's been using this share if it's worth it or if i should just stick with realms.

Questions: How does joining this kind of server work? Do we type in the ip in the server list?
How would personal texture packs work? Some of us like to use personal texture packs, maybe for personal preference. Or we use holoprint( a schematic texture pack) on ourselves.
How about adding new texture packs to the server? We change or add new texture packs sometimes so i just wanted to know if this would cause us issues.
