I can't speak for his actual booking because idk what was his & what wasn't. But based on the two short clips that I've seen floating around of the booking meetings, I'd say his heart was in the right place. He just came unprepared. He was right to advocate for Truth & he was even more right imo to speak up for Chelsea winning the US title back. He was just unprepared. Of course being prepared could've also worked against him because you don't wanna be confrontational or argumentative & poke several holes in your boss's logic in front of everybody. You don't outshine the master.

But why is it a problem to have her run it back with the babyfaces she already worked with? Tiffy was champion for almost a year and you had her work with Nia & Jade like 37 times. But fine. Why would Chelsea have to lose to Alexa? With respect to Alexa she's not some juggernaut main eventer that you have to make look strong for some future plans. She can afford to get the best of Chelsea in the weeks leading up to & lose one match to Chelsea. Also, Chelsea is a heel & has Alba Fyre. 9 times out of 10, Chelsea will cheat & that protects Alexa.

You're the boss Hunter. Make a Raw & Smackdown trade. You could've brought Lyra or Bayley over for her to work with. Give one of these NXT babyfaces some shine. Chelsea can work with Jaida, Lola, Tatum or Thea. My point is agree or disagree, Dogg had points that he just wasn't ready to make a case for & Triple H makes it seem like there were just no options & all of these things lead to nowhere
