Hey everyone,

I created this subreddit a long time ago, and I honestly never expected it to grow like it has recently. Over the past week or two we’ve suddenly had a lot more activity, tons of new members, and multiple posts every day. Seeing all of you sharing progress and supporting each other has really cool.

I actually created this subreddit when I was a teenager myself. At the time I wanted a place where younger lifters could share progress, talk about training, diet, and what was working for us while we were still growing. There weren’t many places online where teenage lifters could talk openly without being dismissed.

I’m 24 now, still lifting and still passionate about fitness; but I’ve definitely outgrown the community and don’t have the time to properly moderate it anymore. With the recent growth, it deserves moderators who are actually active and can keep the subreddit healthy.

So I’m looking for 1-3 new moderators from within the community who want to help guide the subreddit.

Ideally you are someone who:

• Is active on Reddit

• Actually lifts and cares about fitness

• Wants to keep the community positive and helpful

• Understands that most members here are younger lifters who are still learning

My original goal with this subreddit was always to keep it a place where people could share progress, exchange knowledge about training and dieting, and encourage each other while getting started in bodybuilding.

If you’re interested in helping moderate, leave a comment or send a modmail and tell me a little about yourself.

Thanks to everyone who has been posting recently it’s honestly awesome to see the community alive after all these years. As a bonus; I included some photos of back when I was a teenager. Because I trained so hard so young, I've been able to maintain my look with little effort. The same should be true with you guys :).
