Almost got scammed – now I can’t send SOL or swap tokens anymore
Hey everyone,
I’m having a serious issue with my Solana wallet and I’m hoping someone here might have seen this before.
Earlier today I connected my wallet to a website to vote for a token. The page prepared a transaction and showed all tokens in my wallet. That looked suspicious, so I did NOT sign it and cancelled the transaction.
Since that moment my wallet behaves strangely.
Current situation:
- I can receive SOL
- I cannot send SOL to external wallets
- I cannot swap any tokens
- wallet swaps fail
- swaps via Jupiter fail
- most transactions fail with “Transaction simulation failed – invalid program argument”
However:
- my funds are still in the wallet
- no tokens were transferred out
- I can send tokens to myself
- I can move tokens between my main and legacy address
I already tried:
- Backpack wallet
- Phantom
- Solflare
- mobile and browser extensions
Same issue everywhere.
Has anyone ever seen something like this?
Is it possible that cancelling that transaction left my wallet/account in some broken state?
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Translated it with Chat-GPT :D englisch isn´t my mothertongue
