If I Score decent in Social science and English in 10th will affect my chances of getting into a good institution

I'm currently preparing for my 10th boards exam and really passed while studying physics it's not that I'm really bad but sometimes I get things messed up. Somehow if I Score around 45% in those subjects will they consider it on overall percentage or not ?
