THEY DO FEEL REAL.

Experience

I stopped lucid dreaming like a year ago after having a few successful induction attempts because it just didn't feel as vivid as I hoped. I understood I needed to practice for that, but it was one of those things that was just really hard to believe was possible until I experienced it myself

But today I HAD ONE. And it was vivid as hell!!! Like I remember the way the wind felt on me and the way the walls and metal poles in the street felt on my hand and I reacted to everything the way I would IRL rather than in a careless way as if I didn't realize how crazy it was

Weird thing is it felt like sort of a different part of my memory was there?

Like I was remembering methods for stabilizing the dream but instead of remembering to spin around (like I usually would) I remembered to try to keep my senses there by just feeling whatever I could. Also I tried to summon something scary and for some reason the first thing that came to mind was some random horror character I haven't heard of in years. It disappeared immediately after I realized I didn't wanna scare myself but still. Strange

Another thing I noticed is that things could kinda be like. Half there. Like if I imagine something right now as I'm sitting here in this room typing, like I imagine someone else in the room. I have an image of them, I can assume what they sound like, so they're still like just barely there? Like 1/16 as vivid as if someone was really in the room. But in the dream if I summoned something sometimes it'd be like 1/2 there and then disappear. Like the horror character thing

I'm pretty sure these are normal it's just they weren't present in my other lucid dreams

Other than that it was a really fun experience. Might try to have more
