I think we’re going to get Ruby/Sapphire on Switch consoles eventually

I would find it surprising if they don’t eventually release the gen 3 games onto Switch consoles.

We can only catch between 170-180 Pokemon within FR/LG, leaving over half of the Pokédex as uncatchable. We have no way of obtaining the majority of the Hoenn dex, the Johto dex, and the mythical pokemon (except for Deoxys). We literally can’t catch them all unless they release ports of the gen 3 games.

We should probably accept it that we won’t get emerald, but R/S is definitely possible and probable.
