Issue focusing Quill text editor with Axiom.ai

I'm currently evaluating Axiom ai to determine whether it could be used for automation within the company I work for. During testing, I encountered an issue when trying to focus on a specific text input field.

Unfortunately, I cannot share the exact application we are using, but I can provide enough information to explain the problem.

The UI uses the Quill 1.X rich text editor instead of a standard HTML textarea. What I am trying to automate is focusing the editor, clearing its contents, and then inserting new text. The intended steps are:

1. Click element – select the editor area
2. Press key(s) – Ctrl+A and Delete
3. Enter text – insert the new content

Steps 2 and 3 work correctly during testing. The issue occurs with Step 1. Clicking the element does not place the cursor inside the editor, so the following keyboard actions are not applied. I suspect this happens because the Quill editor does not use a traditional textarea element for input.

Do you have a recommended approach for reliably focusing such editors when automating with Axiom.ai?
