Just looking for some advice.

So I’m a 42 F talking to a 37 M marine that is deployed. We FaceTime and talk or message when we can. I sometimes feel like I’m wasting time by waiting for his deployment to end. He’s been gone a year and doesn’t know when he’ll be back. I’ve been out of the military since 04 so I know things can change. So alittle advice especially from my military brothers and sisters. I know there are 18 mth deployment billets. But how long should he be gone. I want to give people the benefit of the doubt but I am not a patient person.
