S26 Ultra or iPhone 17 Pro Max

Hi so I’m really conflicted with this one. I’ve been waiting since September for the S26 Ultra to release so I could compare both of them, but there’s a lot of mixed reviews online saying the S26 Ultra is such a let down and others saying it’s great. I want unbiased opinions please, I’ve had an iPhone for 8 years and my last Samsung phone was a Note 7. Any advice is appreciated, it is only between these two for now but in the far future I may look at other android brands such as Xiaomi, Oppo or Google.
