How to loop in Daybreak 2.

Gameplay

How to loop in daybreak 2:

(From a fellow new Daybreak  player)

PS: feel free to add, I am not a pro but just sharing some hopefully helpful stuff I learnt and what works for me in general.

What I have learned:

- When looping try to vault 2 times at most before moving to a next area - as u can only vault 3 times on a single vault before it is blocked for 75 seconds

- Try to not use stamina and save for when transitoning to another area as that is when killer is most likely to get you

- You are faster then the killer when sprinting, but the killer is faster then you when you are not

- Vaults help slow the killer down ( exept for certein killers that vault fast, like idol)

- Don’t panic when you get into a chase and don’t sprint far away, as you will spend all your stamina and get downed by the killer, stay calm and keep your eye on the killer’s distance from you

Best maps for beginners:

I find I start a good loop, when I am in an outdoor map with lots of space as it makes feel more relaxed then stressed about running into walls or objects and getting stuck.

Roanoke Woods

 - Some great loops, especially the fallen tree ones & the indoor loops aren’t to hard to navigate, one of my favs - best loops are any of the fallen tree ones.

Dawnwood Pines

 - very open & easy to navigate - best loop is near the cave entrance at the bottom of the slope.

Cliffmack Beach

 - outdoor map, lots of objects that make it feel crowded, but it does have the best loops - especially the ones on the dock & the one with a car in the loop, on the edge of the map.

Camp Clearwater

- Best to avoid the house loops and stick to the beach or forest loops - best loops at beach.

St. Anne’s Burial Ground

- Tones of great loops and the inside ones are really great as well! I recommend the hedge ones in the courtyard and the greenhouse is also rlly great!

Purgeton

-  I prefer Genrushing or Stealth characters on this map, but some of the looping areas are rlly good! - best loops at fence with gen near the motel & gas station loops.

Worst Maps for Beginners:

On these maps I recommend playing stealth or a genrusher with stealth abilities & stats since these maps are more difficult in my opinion ( I die I lot on these maps when I play as a looper but I survive much more as a stealth or genrusher on these maps)

Haverhill hospital:

  • I have personal BEEF with this map, it’s crowded, small & literally so hard to loop on - If you need to loop then I recommend the loops on the second floor.

Lakeview high:

  • This maps classrooms are easy for the killer to trap us in, but in general this map isn’t too crowded except for, again,  the classrooms -  if you need to loop then the cafeterias loops are the best and some outdoor ones work quite well.

Shifty Station:

  • Really good map if you play the game often but it is quite difficult for beginners due to the crowded objects that can block our path if we accidentally bump into them during a high tense chase - best loops are the ones on the main floor, especially the one near the escalators.

Empire Finace:

  • My fav map as a Genrusher but not so as a looper, the loops on the first floor are quite far apart and then the ones on the second floor have a lot of objects that I often run into & then end up getting downed. It is in general a mid map for beginner loopers but I find it is a favourite for pro and high lvl loopers.

Gaikhara:

  • Its SO pretty but I almost always end up bumbing into random plants, fences, torches etc, its just too crowded for me - the best loops are at the section with maze like walls surrounding everything, good for support players to hide from killer while they wait to revive a downed player.

Cordoba Blacksite:

  • THIS MAP OMG, If their was one map where we are destined to die its this one, the loops are far away from each other its crowded and feels like a maze :((
  • Maps like these are why its important to learn your away around maps, Even after playing this map a lot and watching videos online to help I always find myself getting confused.

Other Maps:

I have yet to try looping on these maps so I haven’t included them:

Costa De Cristalina

Wastewater Treatment

Thanks for reading! I hope this helped and if you’re a pro player and you have any advice please feel free to comment below x! I used to play genrushers a lot but I have recently changed to loopers and I am still learning my way around it so any advice is greatly apprieciated.
