You’ve procrastinated on getting in shape until you were 30.
Imagine you’re 30 years old, male, and you’ve been brutally punishing your body for a decade. Moderate to heavy cannabis and alcohol abuse, while abusing caffeine, sugar, and processed foods just as much. Sleep has NEVER been consistent, you’ve also got depression, anxiety, PTSD and ADHD, and likely OCD.
It’s not been ALL bad; there are bouts of running and working out consistently, you stay away from plastics as much as you can, and you’re always dabbling with supplements/fasting/red light…but the key word there being “dabbling”.
Bloodwork is (surprisingly) not TERRIBLE. Definitely D3 deficient, iron deficient, and you’re now pre-diabetic by one point. Bodyweight has never gotten out of hand, in fact you have a harder time putting ON weight than you do losing it, despite eating like a toddler for as long as you can remember.
What would you do to reverse this/get into a better state of being? What would you do to get in the best shape of your life before Memorial Day weekend? I recognize you can’t undo a decade of abuse in two months, but humor me here - what would you do?
