Now that we've seen the first characters of 4.0, how is power creep?

I'm flagging this as a spoiler in case folks want to not dig into the mechanics of just released characters.

The vibe I'm getting from Yao Guang and Sparxie is that their power level is around the same (or even slighly less than) Evernight and Cyrene. That's a distinct shift from how The Herta and Aglaea were received at 3.0, and is giving me hope that Pink Exodia team will represent an approximate DPS ceiling for 4.0 content. (In Particular, that no 4.x team at E0S1 will have DPS near E2S1 3.x teams. (that vertical investing in pink exodia / Phainon / Anaxa teams would be at least as good as investing in new characters).

Maybe is Hopium, but it seems like a good sign that power creep hasn't shown up in 4.x, in my opinion. (outside of particular enemies that counter characters / teams)
