This is the warmest text i have ever recieved on LinkedIn.
I have been cold dming people, and I won't lie many were helpful. many ghosted, many said they don;t know, etc etc.
I just ask them if their firms take up trainees/assitants/etc. Not articles, cause I am not eligible yet. So I dm the HR, the articles, Manager, etc.
I was quite surprised when I recieved a connection request from a quite famous consulting firm's Partner. I accepted and immediately sent him a first message sorta to break the ice, telling him that I am looking to learn from his insights, and he never responded. I mean, if I had sent a request, and they accepted, and I was ok with not being responded to. But here, he was the one who sent me the request. This was some weeks back.
So today I sent a request to a CA, he accepted immediately, I asked him what I want, he asked for my cv, I sent him and he asked me a few ques, I answered and this is what he sent me.
This is very sweet for some reason. Mainly because I am not confident if I will pass.
This might sound like a LinkedIn post cause ive been scrolling likedin all day lol.
