Hi everyone!

Thank you so much for the 23k+ views on my recent "Naturalness" post! I’m Makoto, and after correcting the robotic Japanese of thousands of students, I’ve designed a roadmap to help you escape the "Textbook Trap."

**Why follow this series?**

• Sound Sophisticated: You don’t need more vocab. Use what you already know to sound more intelligent and confident.

• The "Neutral" Sweet Spot: Learn the real-life Japanese that sits right between stiff formal and rough slang.

• Unlearn Bad Habits: Perfect for N5 to N1 learners who feel their Japanese sounds "off" or "too much like a textbook."

📘 **The "Real Japanese" Roadmap (Vol. 1-10)**

*Even if you are N3 or N2, I highly recommend starting with Vol. 1-3*. It’s not about "basic grammar"—it's about fixing the unnatural habits most learners pick up early on.

**\[** **Beginner Focus (N5-N4)** \]

• Vol. 1: The "Watashi" Trap & The Magic of "Yattemasu" (Ch. 1-3)

• Vol. 2: Overusing "Hai" & Natural Greetings (Ch. 4-6)

• Vol. 3: The Magic of "No" & Dropping Particles (Ch. 7-9)

• Vol. 4: Beyond "Sou desu ka" & Natural Agreeing/Disagreeing (Ch. 10-12)

**\[** **Intermediate Focus (N4-N3)** \]

• Vol. 5: The Desu/Masu Trap & Casual Contractions (Ch. 13-15)

• Vol. 6: The "N-desu" Mystery & Sentence-Ending Particles (Ch. 16-18)

• Vol. 7: Indirectness, Softeners, & The Apology Spectrum (Ch. 19-21)

• Vol. 8: Real-life: Restaurant, Shopping, & Office (Ch. 22-24)

**\[** **Advanced Bridge (N3-N2)** \]

• Vol. 9: Listening, Speed, Rhythm, & Intonation Secrets (Ch. 25-27)

• Vol. 10: Regional Variations, Generation Gaps, & Synthesis (Ch. 28-30)
