Does this piece of shit AI ever work correctly

Yesterday I asked it to generate an image for me. Instead of generating it, it spit out a large JSON object that contained a prompt for OpenAI's Dall-E 2 model (???).

It didn't tell me that it can't do that with that model, it just hallucinated some bullshit while completely forgetting what company made it.

Okay fine, I switch to Nano Banana 2 in the menu, and now it's failing with some sort of permission error. The chat didn't even get saved.

Almost every post on this sub is something similar. Seriously, what is going on with Google?
