Is it weird that everyone I have dated are from my old school and it's been 8 years since I finished school

I have only dated people from my school , even after finishing my schooling . And now there's a new person in my life again from the same school and we both are kind of interested and would like to date eachother in the near future . It just happens to be that way or should I just stop this and go explore from outside
