Entry/Exit and Re-Entry Question (Thailand to Cambodia)

Hello, I will be spending seven weeks in Thailand this summer. I will be arriving on a Tourist visa. I've heard that Thailand has cracked down on "Visa Runs" and you're only limited to a few entry/exits now.

I have dreamed of seeing Angkor Wat in Cambodia and would like to go there while I'm in Southeast Asia.

Can I enter Thailand on a tourist visa, go see Angkor Wat in Cambodia for a weekend, and then come back to Thailand without any issues reentering the country?
