Should I seek to complete a qualification?

Advice

Uk based

Didn’t attend Uni, 5 yrs as finance admin for insurance claims, now work at a central bank for 3 yrs, supervise insurance firms. Completed Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII) at previous role via apprenticeship.

Weird situation now where I’ve been passed up for promotion, starting to look elsewhere but also at study options. They often say what do you want to do or study but being in such a generalist role, I’m not too sure, never had to specialise in anything. Study wise I’m thinking of the following:

Sponsored study - bound for 2 years after completion, otherwise have to pay it back or some of it

- continue Chartered Insurance Institute, Diploma (level 4) level.

- CFA

- FRM

- Other type of risk management course

Apprenticeship - not bound and don’t have to pay but have to do all the extra logging of off the job hours etc

- Accounting level 4 (AAT/ ACCA/ATT/potentially ACA)

- Senior Risk and Compliance specialist level 6

Any guidance on which course or direction to go when not too sure.
