Meeting soon: get back together?

He and I are scheduling for him to "fill his promises" (he said we were going to see each other, that he would like to go to the restaurant with me, he even considered buying a ticket for a show...) and today he is all excited, saying that I am exclusive to him. Does he intend to reconnect our relationship? I'm confused and acting cautiously.
