The new highlighter colors are ruining the reading experience. Is it just me?

Hey everyone,

I just updated my Kindle and I’m really struggling with the new highlighter palette. As you can see in the screenshot (I’m currently reading Anna Karenina), the yellow highlight has turned into this muddy, dark mustard color.

It used to be vibrant and transparent, but now it feels opaque and actually makes the text harder to read because the contrast is so low. It lacks that 'pop' that a digital highlighter should have.

Has anyone else noticed this change? It feels like a massive step backward in UI design. I’ve already sent feedback to Amazon, but I wanted to see if I’m the only one who finds this 'new look' distracting and dull.

Hopefully, they’ll give us a 'Classic' color option in the next update.
