How to breed an army as an unserious player lol

Okay — this is going to be LENGTHY I apologize!!! Just need some guidance lol

I’m a pretty unserious gamer, I will get fixated on games and spend hours on them but also I am focusing on the cozier stuff (or less intense stuff at least) like base building and focusing on maxing out my one perfect pal companion and the cutest base pals 😂 my bases are pretty well oiled machines but function on a personal needs level, I’m not producing commercial amounts of anything lol that being said — what is the best way for me to build an army for the raid bosses (I think that’s what they’re called? The ones you get the slabs for to use with the summoning altar)

Here’s my current situation:

I have about 5 pals that have been my main party pals for everything in the game, I have them leveled up enough to have like 2000ish attack, and defense/health leveled up the same percentage (a couple are the full 60%, others are getting close, like 48ish%). They dont usually die when I fight those bosses, but it’s just not enough power amongst those guys to take them down — I always run down the timer instead.

I try to find other strong pals in my palbox and have them ready to deploy to the base, but even my alpha bosses and stuff end up dying quickly because they aren’t leveled up at all (sorry idk the terminology for when you use souls to increase their stats)

I have a few pals with passives like legend, demon god, vampiric — and I bred a whole bunch of knocklems and blazamuts (so sorry for spelling lol I’m not on the game currently to verify) that all have 2 of those 3 passives, then I’m using surgery table to at minimum add ferocious on top of that. BUT even with all of that, their attack/defense/health stats are super low because they haven’t been leveled up with souls or anything.

I also have a couple Selynes and Jetragons I can breed more of just to increase count but how do I introduce passives that they don’t already have, since they can only be bred from themselves? The only regular map pals I haven’t beaten are the pair of horse things Paladius and I can’t remember the other one’s name, then I don’t have the slab ones aside from the Bellanoirs, but otherwise I have the rest!

The point is, it’s taken me this entire game (I’m level 64 and have been playing for months) to collect enough souls to max out just my few favorite pals — the idea of having to collect enough now to significantly level up my little army feels nearly impossible lol is that the only option??? Or how do people mass produce good fighters like they seem to around here?? Also, fully condensing pals takes SUCH AN EFFORT I cant imagine having to do it for an entire base worth of pals?! Or is that just what people do??

Anyway, as I’m typing this I’m feeling like the answer is going to be “suck it up and do it” lol which if so I perfectly understand. But i feel like I dont have a lot of like the gamer strategy type knowledge so just wondering if theres something I’m missing, thats all☺️
