Need help with Scotland itinerary

This is a rough draft of what I’ve come up with for a week in Scotland. It will be early October. I want to rent a car. I just need help figuring out if this is good or not. I would have liked to see isle of skye but it doesn’t seem like enough time. I also don’t really want to stay in Inverness I just wanted to see some things around there.

*Day 1: flying all day/ overnight

* Day 2: Arrive in Edinburgh in morning

* Day 3: Edinburgh cont.

* Day 4: Edinburgh cont.

- Stay in old town or royal mile

- Edinburgh castle

- The real Mary kings close

- Royal mile

- The vennel

- Dean village

* Day 5: drive to Glencoe/ ft William

-Midhope castle

-The kelpies

-Doune castle

-Glenfinnan viaduct

* Day 6: drive to inverness

- Culloden

- Loch Ness

- Urquhart castle

- Cairngorms nat park

* Day 7: back to Edinburgh
