Do you want to laugh at my expenses??

The good news is: I got a new job! I'll start in 2 months! The bad news is: it's in Germany. And I must leave Vienna.

So far, sad enough.

But then I thought? What happens when I move my fiscal residence abroad? Do I need to tell that to Trade Republic? Let me ask...

Response (in summary)

1. Our account is only for people with permanent residence in the country of registration
2. We only allow one account per person.
3. We already started closing procedures for your account. Last day usable: in 60 days.

Consequence:

1. I have to sell everything before the closure day (say bye bye to buy-and-hold and postponing taxes)
2. They will close the account
3. I will not be able to open a new account afterwards with a German fiscal number and stuff.
4. Cry a lot, I guess?
5. Find another broker, after I was actually very happy with TR.

I'm furious but hey, you don't have to be! You can laugh about it! At my expenses! I'll allow it!
