Is the lack of professional writing tools for Indian languages a "hidden cost" for businesses?

Startup help

Hello everyone,

I’ve noticed a curious trend: while English communication has become incredibly streamlined with AI tools, professional writing in Indian languages (specifically Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam) still feels like an uphill battle.

I’m not talking about casual texting, but professional-grade communication.

The Real Pain Points:

The Professionalism Barrier: Many professionals I know want to send formal emails or create LinkedIn content in their native tongue, but they hesitate because they aren't 100% sure of the complex grammar rules or formal tone. The Transliteration Mess: We often type phonetically (English script), but the tools to convert that into "perfectly punctuated and grammatically correct" native script are often clumsy or inaccurate.

The "Translated" Feel: Most current AI tools produce content that feels robotic and "translated" rather than naturally authored. It lacks the cultural nuance required for business trust.

My Question to the Community:

If a "Grammarly-level" assistant existed for our native languages—one that didn't just fix typos but actually helped you write with professional authority and cultural nuance—would that be something you’d find valuable? Would you (or your company) pay for a tool that guarantees 100% grammatical accuracy in regional business communications?

Or do you feel that English is enough, and there is no real "need" for high-end professional tools in regional languages?

I’m genuinely curious if this is a problem worth solving or if the market has already moved on. I’d love to hear your honest thoughts.
