About Saber during the Heaven's Feel Finale

I just finished the Heaven's Feel trilogy and I have mixed feelings on how they handled Saber towards the end. Considering how important Saber is in general I found it strange how she just kinda went out with a whimper after Shirou killed her. Like they could have given her a scene or SOMETHING after she sank into the shadow but they didnt. Why'd they do her so dirty?
