So we have our (Presumably) last preview material before the likely implosion.

Let’s do some analyzing, shall we?

# Fantôme Senka

Another picture of Fantôme Senka has appeared in the preview, continuing to spur the questions many of us have had about her role this episode. We know she's not the main attraction; the episode title is as on-the-nose as you can get about what's going to happen. Plus, the Senkwelius theory seems to be well and truly debunked at this point; if you look at the previews the day of, all of them have ended with the closeup of the belligerents' faces as they finish the ritual beginning a Clash fight. And we see just that in this preview, not with Nao and Senka, but with Nao and Gabwelius. Even so, we know that Nao is fighting Senka (Or at least fought Senka at some point, if this does turn out to be just a flashback) in *some* capacity; the first preview shows what looks like the fight just about to start. However, I have some new ideas about what will occur:

* Nao is about to fight Senka, but somehow, Gabwelius interrupts the fight, cutting it off so *he* can fight Nao instead, whether he appears and makes Senka cede control to him, or he does something that allows him to come out early and pick off a Mythisch Fighter (Perhaps some sort of ritual that may sacrifice Senka's portion of the barrier, if something of that nature is necessary).
* Alternatively, though this is *much* less likely, Nao vs. Senka *does* happen onscreen in a decent capacity, but the fight is either quite fast, or we just get enough bits and pieces of it to see almost the full fight, *then* Gabwelius shows up, and that fight just starts this episode, but continues into the next. It seems like we're, perhaps, getting a bit of SoL stuff before everything goes to hell, not unlike Episode 4, reducing the chances of this even further.

It would be weird if Senka was the second mystery Fantôme Fighter, and they just hand-waved her away so casually just to force a Gabwelius fight in at the halfway mark. They set up this mystery of two secret Fantôme Fighters, but only actually show us one? Too much suspicion is flowing from all of their decisions here. We'll only see tonight just how spiteful the writers decided to be towards this perpetually sidelined pink-haired samurai lady.

Then again, it seems like the second OP could very well just be mere window dressing, given how they're apparently just pasting a new song over the cinematic we already have.

# Gabwelius

There's really nothing about Gabwelius we can discern from this preview media. The one incredibly cold shot from last night is presumably part of what's either his Fantôme Skill animation, or his ride animation, which tells us nothing about his character. We also see what looks like the unit version of him in silhouette (Not that we haven't seen the full version already; he's mostly just the same Gabwelius with a different color palette). All we know is that he ambushed the party, and he's fighting Nao.

However, the first shot of this new preview shows Gabwelius... crying? I wonder what this is about. The translations we have of the blurb suggest Gabwelius's goal is simply "to dominate Fantasma", painting him as your garden-variety power-hungry overlord, which is possible; I do still believe Gabwelius, like everybody else, was rewritten like everybody else in Fantasma, and since there's no real rhyme or reason to what it does, it could have turned the otherwise generally goofy and benevolent Gabwelius into a cold tyrant trying to remake reality in his image. However, I also wonder if there's a more tragic element to what's going on here, such as a new backstory for him, or more elaboration on what happened to his family at Sybilt's hands. After all, the biggest theory right now is that Sybilt is related to why Nao is in his crosshairs; she does still use Rakshasa, a card born of Sybilt's evil power, after all. We'll probably learn plenty here, from all of this, to where his human form came from.
