I randomly stumbled onto this PBD podcast thing on YouTube. 2.9 million subscribers.

Four grown men sitting around a table just confidently talking about topics they clearly don’t understand beyond maybe a headline and a tweet. And somehow 40k people are watching this live.

The whole thing felt like listening to a group chat of dudes who think they’ve cracked geopolitics after scrolling Twitter for 10 minutes. Just constant outrage about vague things, acting like everyone else is the villain while they’re the only “rational thinkers” in the room.

And the confidence… that’s the craziest part. The way they say things with absolute certainty while clearly having zero depth on the topic.

Meanwhile people who actually spend years studying this stuff get 200 views on a video. But four guys loudly agreeing with each other at a table? Millions of subscribers and tens of thousands watching live.

I swear half the internet runs on confidence + microphones.
