7Kings capsules.
So, I have been seeing a lot lately of people ordering tabs instead of the capsules from 7kings, and curious I did some research.. So, I have heard a couple things regarding the capsules mainly being "the enhancement claims are bs." "The caps are to hide low grade 7", etc. I got curious, and asked as it turns out there is actually genuine reason with scientific backing for why they do capsules and yes you are correct in thinking "12mg capsules feels stronger than the 12mg tab." Here's why: Inside of the capsules they have 2 additional ingredients other than 7 oh to ACTUALLY boost it. 1 of which is Black Pepper extract, the other being Grapefruit extract. Black pepper contains the alkaloid Piperine, and Grapefruit extract contains furanocoumarins. Piperine directly affects 7oh in 2 ways 1 of which is the Inhibition of liver enzymes, namely P-Glycoprotein, and the P450 system- CYP3A4, as well as CYP2C9. Meanwhile the grapefruit extract also directly inhibits the P450 system (CYP3A4, CYP2D6) Inhibition of the CYP system is going to directly affect the metabolism of 7oh slowing it's breakdown, which in turn leads to a much higher plasma concentration buildup of the drug in your bloodstream. P-Glycoprotein affects how much of certain drugs can be absorbed, and how quickly they are absorbed into the bloodstream, and pass the Blood brain barrier, so by inhibition of PGP you are actually increasing the absorption rate of 7oh into your bloodstream, while the Inhibition of the CYP system allows for a much higher concentration of 7 to build up at a now increased rate of absorption.. Found it quite interesting, and also gives evidence to those of you wondering if the capsules were all gimic, placebo, or in this case actually had something in them.. Just something I found out, and thought some of you might find interesting.
