OPINION NEEDED : Novice to the Ubiquiti ecosystem

Question

I am new to the UniFi ecosystem (please be gentle) and recently started setting up my home network. I wanted to share my current setup and get feedback on whether it looks sufficient/effecient or if there are any improvements you would recommend.

My home currently has 8 cat6 roughin and 1 cat6 for the doorbell. I mapped it out and lighting around the corners and dark spots would be necessary (not the brightest floodlight but it will work). I was playing around with UI design centre and this is what I came up with:

Current hardware

• Cloud Gateway Max (1TB)
• UniFi Standard 24 PoE switch

Connected devices

• 5 × G5 Turret Ultra cameras
• 1 × Doorbell Lite
• 3 × UniFi Floodlights
• 1 × U6 AC Pro access point

The goal was to keep things relatively simple while learning the UniFi ecosystem. I mainly wanted a clean security camera setup with a single access point for Wi-Fi and room to expand later and cost friendly. I started off looking at a reolink PoE camera kit from Costco and here i am now. lol

A few questions I have

  1. Does this setup look sufficient/effecient for the number of cameras and devices I am running?
  2. Is the Standard 24 PoE switch a reasonable choice for this, or should I have gone with something different?
  3. Any suggestions for things I should consider adding or changing as I expand? This may not be important as cost is huge factor right now.
  4. I am planning to move this into a rack. What rack size would you recommend for something like? Or is a rack even needed?

I am still learning UniFi so any tips or best practices would be greatly appreciated.
