Haptic feedback hasn’t been working for a long time now

Question

Hi there, I just want to ask for help if it’s still salvageable. I own a Macbook Air M2, and I think it has almost been a year since haptic feedback has gone from my touchpad. I can still use force click, but there’s no big click, and all other clicks are gone. I just… press hard and hope it registers as a tap.

I’ve tried everything I’ve seen like the paper wedged under the touchpad (to no avail), the hairdryer to the touchpad (it restored it for a couple of seconds the first time and never really worked again), and the diagnostic repair one. Is there still something I can do, or will I have to live without the clicks unless I take it out for repair? Thank you.
