Young person anxious about housing cost in the US considering relocating to spain

Hi!

26M born and raised in the US, but have Irish citizenship. I have lived in Spain for two years in the Auxilliare program, have been back in the US for 6 months, and was accepted into a master's program for branding and art direction, but I haven't been able to feel 100% confident in doing this program because in the back of my head, this idea keeps nagging at me. The potential cost of attending Grad school for two years is 50k, but that amount would be more than enough to put down a deposit on a few places I have been looking at on Idealista. The Spain plan would be to buy one of these places, move permanently, and rent out the rooms to other foreigner OR start an artist residency. For the residency, I would plan to rent two rooms to foreign artists and retain a spot for Spanish nationals for a fully funded stay.

This decision is partially motivated by anxiety that I will still not be able to find a job after grad school, have to pay out of pocket for health care, and wait longer to buy property. Maybe it's because other people my age with salaried jobs are starting to buy homes, and that makes me both jealous and anxious. I feel like there's a great time-specific opportunity for me to own property. Many people are considering moving to Spain right now, which is great, but surely with many Americans moving over Spainish citizens will maybe put pressure on the government to continue to raise impuestos for foreigners.

IDK any thoughts on this? Asking people in my life a lot right now, but no one really knows anything about this. I would probably be able to afford the mortgage by working and teaching English, and also I believe my savings would be more than enough to sustain a year. I also plan to finance with a down payment by asking for money from family and friends, for example, 200 USD for two months stay, spread out as much as theyd like.

Does anyone have any warnings or experience in this?
