The "Friendzone" isn't a place, it’s an unpaid internship for emotional labor.
We need to stop romanticizing "just being friends" after one person catches feelings.
If you know someone is into you, but you keep them around for "emotional support," late-night venting, or to help you move apartments while you’re out dating other people—you’re not a good friend. You’re just using them as a placeholder until you find someone you actually want to sleep with.
On the other side: guys, if you’re hanging around a girl hoping she’ll "eventually" see your worth while you play the "nice guy" card, you’re just as manipulative.
Is the friendzone ever actually mutual, or is it always just one person being used and the other person being delusional? Let's discuss.
