Hollywood feels strange lately. Anyone else noticing this shift

Something about entertainment over the last couple of years feels different.

Not just movies. Everything. TV, streaming, music, celebrity culture. It feels like the industry is in a weird transition phase.

A few things people keep pointing out:

• Big budget movies underperforming at the box office

• Streaming platforms cutting shows after one season

• Remakes and reboots everywhere instead of new ideas

• Celebrities losing influence compared to creators and streamers

• TikTok and YouTube shaping what becomes popular

It almost feels like the old Hollywood system is losing control of culture. Now trends start on the internet and the studios try to chase them later.

At the same time audiences seem more divided. Some people want pure entertainment. Others want social commentary. Studios try to balance both and sometimes end up pleasing no one.

Maybe we are just in a transition moment where the entertainment industry is trying to figure out what works again.

Curious what people here think.

Is entertainment actually declining right now or are we just seeing the industry reset itself for the next era.
