AMS 2 Pro Filament remaining (I assume by weight?) Question

I just got my AMS 2 Pro finally and have been using it quite a bit. The system obviously identifies the amount of filament in a spool but I use a lot of non-bambu filaments and printed spools for bambu refills. Am I right that the filament measurement is based on local weight? Is it possible to recalibrate that in some way for differently weighted spools?

Certainly, I could just be out of luck, but given the different spools, different filaments, potential for desiccant in the spool openings, and all the other ways that the weight could be different, it would be awesome to adjust.
