Unsung Hero ruling

Hey, I have a ruling question if you go to combat with unsung hero and punch first and then your opponent smokes screen. Would you still get the deathnell because it became mighty at one point? Or because it’s a reaction speed spell it never saw it happen because it was faster.

Also if you have BF sword on Unsung but they destroy the BF sword while you are defending and then come to kill your unsung. Someone said you won’t draw because it’s not mighty but the card says was mighty wouldn’t you draw 2 since you were mighty at one point ?
