Seeking resources about cultural competence/cultural importance

Hi,

The city where I work has a considerable first and second generation immigrant population, from many different backgrounds. I’m currently trying to research more about cultural competency and culturally informed therapy for both my own growth and a presentation for my coworkers, but I’m finding it hard to find specific explanations about what constitutes culturally informed therapy and how to go about developing cultural skills, reading both general articles and scientific articles leave me kind of lost on practical takeaways.

Does anyone have resources they recommend, specially longer ones like books?

I am not in the US or Canada, I work in the Spanish public health system, so I’d appreciate resources that are more focused on how cultural and racial diversity tends to show in Europe, but I’m sure the general framework is supposed to work for many cultures for the therapist as well as the patient.
