Mr556 A4 trigger compatibility question

So just for shits an giggles I tried one of CMC Triggers component triggers in my mr556. It actually does work. However the hammer is slightly shorter than the stock hammer And the Geissele hammer. I am worried about the trigger hitting the latch of the firing pin safety and breaking it. Long story short I was trying a bunch of different triggers that were supposed to be compatible with the MR 556 and the firing pin latch on my BCG broke. I don’t know what trigger caused it or if that was a cause of it or if it was just poor quality control on HK‘s end they did replace the whole BCG without any problem. I’m just trying to avoid this happening again. I don’t know if it was that trigger or a different one that may have caused it. Does anybody have any info on something like this?
