I just switched my cat to an Air from his gravity feeder and I’m trying to decide how many times I should actually set it to feed him to replicate free feeding?

He isn’t super food motivated but because he’s been free feeding it’s difficult to say how much he actually eats. He’s about 5kg. currently I have it set to 2 portions AM/PM and an extra one mid afternoon. does this sound right? He eats Wellness core grain free with some freeze dried chicken topper if it’s relevant.
