Received TCS Digital Offer Letter (2025 Grad) - Should I resign from my current job now or wait for the Joining Letter?

Hi everyone,

I recently cleared the TCS NQT and interview for the Digital role. I have accepted the Offer Letter (OL) on the NextStep portal, but the joining date is mentioned as "per business requirements."

I am currently working at another MNC and have a 3-month notice period. I’m confused about the timing:

Should I resign now based on the Offer Letter, or is it too risky without a confirmed Joining Letter (JL)?

How much time does TCS typically take to release the JL after the OL for Digital candidates?

The portal is showing BGV and other menus—should I complete these immediately even if I haven't resigned yet?

I don’t want to end up in a situation where I have a huge career gap if the joining is delayed, but I also don't want to miss the TCS joining date due to my 90-day notice.

Any advice from people who have recently joined TCS Digital from another company?
