Fibrosis/Hardened tissue in earlobe piercing channel

Troubleshooting/question existing piercing

Hi everyone, Three months after getting my first ear piercing, I messed up while trying to change the jewelry and caused some trauma to the lobe. The internal channel hardened immediately, feeling almost like a small tube, and it bled. The following day, I went to my piercer who essentially re-pierced it and put in a new earring. It’s been three weeks since then, but that earring fell out and I lost it, so I had to put in a new one myself. Before inserting the replacement, I felt my lobe again (which I hadn't touched since the piercer visit) and noticed the channel is still hard. I assume this is fibrosis, and it’s still there after three weeks. I’d like to ask the experts or anyone who has dealt with this: will this fibrosis ever go away? I should mention that my lobe never swelled up, and I’ve had no pus or pain. Right now, there’s only some very slight redness around the back of the hole, but almost nothing in the front. Honestly, I’m so frustrated because it was healing perfectly and I ruined it with my own hands.
