Hard stuck 250-300

I have been playing chess on and off for like 3 years I currently have 62 days streak of playing everyday. Some people pick it up for 5 fays and reach 1000 elo And people pick it up so much easier than others, i dont get it. I watch youtubes for guides for mistakes and what not. Its so hard to bream the 500 mark. I barelt just broke the 250 mark. What am i doing wrong?
