hi everyone! this is Oliver, my mom’s lab and dachshund mix! he is 5 years old. back in december of 2025 i visited my parents and brought my 2 year old mixed breed female, Korra (3rd picture). they were mostly friendly — Korra wanted to play a lot more than Oliver and Oliver is an only dog (we have 2 other dogs at our house), so he was a little grumpy. at one point, Korra tried to take Oliver’s bone he was chewing on (common in our household for our two girl dogs to fuck with each other and take each other’s shit) and he did NOTT like that so he reacted aggressively to which Korra responded. she’s bigger than him (height/build wise) so when she responded she caught his muzzle and bit. she let go almost immediately once we intervened (all three of us were right there) and Oliver had some fur missing and there was a puncture hole and blood on his muzzle. other than that he was fine! a little shaken but nothing worrying. my mom texted me today that he has had this bald spot somewhat near the place on his muzzle where Korra snagged him (this spot is closer to his nose, the spot Korra got him was closer to the cheek) and it is ALLEGEDLY getting worse (my mother is not a reliable narrator lol). she just assumed it might have been from Korra since it’s on the same side, but she says she only noticed it 2 weeks ago. a picture of him from January does not show the mark. it isn’t inflamed/irritated/red/swollen or anything else. no behavior changes, nothing new or weird he’s been doing.

just wanted to get some opinions! thank you!
