They won't get the finances together? Don't make it my problem.

I'm a middle school teacher, and the school where I work is having some weird financial issues.

And when I say weird, I mean very very weird. Money is going missing from club funds, we aren't getting things that was fundraised for us, and we're weirdly not allowed to receive gifts for our classrooms. But... we were audited and everything is supposedly fine.

Well, one of the ways they're cutting costs is by cutting us down to 100 color copies a year. I mean, it's shitty, but we can't do everything in color.

The problem for me is that Admin has demanded I make some color printouts for my classroom... but they haven't given me more color printouts in the system. So I've used up more than half my printouts for things they've demanded of me and haven't used, and of course I ran out. When I asked them to put more in because I had to do this for them, they said no and that I needed to figure it out on my own.

Well, I needed to print out some color copies. It would have been fine, except, ya know, I had to use most of mine for Admin garbage.

So I just had them all printed out at a local print shop. $.70 a page for double sided color printouts.

The bill is over $100. I'm putting it in for reimbursement.

Should have put more color copies in my stuff.
